Watch the slow motion view fully through to see the paired black and white layers form. The white is sand density 2. The black is mineral sand density 4. Note the high density sand forms on top. Totally counter intuitive. Layers form from right to left not top to bottom, so any fossil material on the left is younger than that trapped on the right. Picture was obtained by stopping the Strata Machine mid flow than starting it up again.
